This past weekend that Varsity Club faced off against their rivals, La Jolla Country Day. Although the team did not play up to Coach Trevino’s expectations, they pulled out a close 3-2 victory. Strong performances were turned in by Captain Clayton Moore, Kento Mencel and freshmen Will Schneider, all who cashed in goals. Patrick O’Donnell made some timely big saves late in the game to solidify the PRS victory. The team is back on the road next weekend to complete the series with Division I foes, Damian Spartans before returning home for homecoming.
