Conditions at Mission Bay High School were sunny, then windy, then overcast, then sunny. No worries for the PRS track & field contingent as they went about their business of gathering medals, PRs, and gaining experience against strong competition.

Throwers - Daniel Harrell upped his medal count by two with his 4th place in the shot put (42'0) and 3rd place and PR in the discus (128'8.5). Nathan Newman had a huge 93'09" PR in the discus. Hannah Salameh had a Seasons Best (SB) in the shot (20'10) and PR in the discus (46-11.50).

Hurdles - Katarina Maric medaled with her 6th place in the 100h (17.86) and 3rd place finish and PR In the 300h (48.94). Kobe Lee ran just off her SB in the 100h and Allison McLoughlin ran a competitive 56.77a in the 300h. Adrian Chang PR'd in the 110h with his 18.90 and a SB in the 300h (49.16). Jordi Bertran had strong performances in the 110 (18.42) and 300h (47.28).

Distance - Kimberly Cheung set a new meet record of 5:17.82 and finished in first in the 1600. Kimberly also medaled 5th in the 800 with a PR of 2:22.67. Shanyce McCullough broke the 6:00 min barrier in the 1600 with a PR of 5:52.46. Savannah Streitman set a SB in the 1600 (6:14.34). Zach Brown unleashed a fearsome kick in the final 100 of the 1600 and dropped a ten second PR of 4:51.68. Cougar ran another strong 3200 with his 12:17.24.

Sprints/Jumps - Ohm Patel experienced his first invitational meet participating in the long jump (13'11.75) and 100 (13.95). Tanisha McCullough had about a 2 second PR in the 400 (1:10.87). Anna Nuzzo (1:11.53) and Owen Curran (54.55) ran just off their season best in the 400.
