On April 28th San Diego's best 9th and 10th graders will compete in the "Meet of Champions." This unique format pits the best 9th graders against each other and the best 10th graders squaring off for peer bragging rights. The evening "Invite" meet featues the top 9 - 12 best of the best from each grade based on times or marks. The day "Open" meet features the next best 9 to 12.
The coaches are happy to announce that six PRS athletes have qualifed for the meet. The 10th graders who qualified are Daniel Harrell in the shot and discus, Kimberly Cheung in the 1600 and 3200, and Katarina Maric in the 300 hurdles; all qualified for the "Invite" meet. The 9th graders who qualified are McKayla Proulx in the 1600, Shanyce McCullough in the 800, and Zach Brown in the 1600; all qualifed for the "Open" section.
Congratulations, you have earned a spot to compete in a prestigious meet.
