Mexican youngsters, Pacific Ridge players learn from basketball
Only 50 miles separates the gym at Pacific Ridge School in Carlsbad and the U.S. border with Mexico.
However, for the players on the Firebirds basketball squad, a recent visit to Tijuana and Rosarito for a series of clinics and games was certainly an eye-opener for head coach Chris Burman’s club.
